Piercing

If you are in London and fancy a new piercing, then you have a lot of choices for places to go.

There are many in Camden, some in central London, suitably expensive and touristy, and many more out in the Greater London area.

For no reason other than we think they are good, we recommend Edyta Lydon at London Blue Lady Tattoo and Piercing. Dita and her staff are wonderful.

You can get there from Angel station. It’s a five minute walk.

If you want something exotic, they will probably do it (well, I’ve asked for exotic things and never been disappointed) and advise what is best. They do walk in for piercings, but can get busy so if you need something complicated, contact them beforehand to check it can be done and when is a quiet time.

Cash is preferred. Prices are not central London and are good value.

Beatles quiz

We have added a short and simple quiz to our site: https://www.pwsanders.uk/beatles-quiz/

There are no trick questions. If you are anything of a Beatles fan you will know most of the answers, and they are all multiple choice with only one correct answer each time.

Nostalgia

The ITV Retro channel on YouTube is posting a large number of classic tv episodes. They may not be available in your area, but have a try.

There are classic series from the golden age: The Prisoner and Thunderbirds head the list. It’s possible that some or all have been remastered into high definition from the original film.

One interesting show was Joe 90. Joe was small boy with a step-father who reprograms his brain so he has extraordinary and temporary skills.

Here’s the first episode:
