Find a local piercer. Look for a tattoo/piercing studio rather than a beauty shop that happens to do the odd piercing.

Contact them, explaining briefly what you want and perhaps send a picture if it’s not obvious. Don’t go into unnecessary detail – if they need more information they will ask. If you want something complicated, they may refuse and refer you elsewhere. Otherwise, they will need to see you in person before committing to anything.
Assuming all is good, there are three things you need to know:
- how much? Consider adding a tip.
- how to pay (if it’s not obvious from the website). Cash or card are usual, bank transfer only is a red flag.
- do you need an appointment? Piercers sometimes do make appointments, but often they just say “a piercing takes just seconds, walk ins are fine”. Find out when is a quiet time, so you won’t have to wait long.
