When to come
We use Expedia. This is not an advert for this company, it’s just what we use and there are others.
You can sit in front of the computer looking for packages and see prices going up and down. This is some of what we found. It may not work at all for you:
Mid-week travel is cheaper than weekend (so Tuesday to Tuesday is better than Saturday to Saturday).
Prices start to go up mid-May and drop mid-September.
Despite what companies say, travel is more expensive when schools are on holiday.
Loyalty
We stick with the same companies when we can. We get loyalty points and airmiles and free upgrades and stuff. It’s worth it.
