Thunderbirds was one of the very great tv series of the 1960s. It started in 1965, had 32 episodes and 2 feature films, is still shown today and so many of the episodes are just as exciting as they were when it was first shown. It’s also available on dvd and etc. There are YouTube channels that stream it continuously.
It’s often called a puppet show. It isn’t. They are marionettes, controlled by strings or wires.
There were also very recent tv series based on the International Rescue team using cgi.
There is one additional feature film based on this with live action. We won’t talk about that.
The story concerns Jeff Tracy and his five sons who dedicate themselves to rescuing people from perilous situations. They live on an island, somewhere, and have craft and machines to deal with all types of emergency. One son, John, lives on a space station and monitors messages and events around the world.

I have always loved and still love Thunderbirds, but I have some questions about it. You can say I am being picky. If you can help, please do.
