Over the years, Tales… has been released and re-released, been re-mixed and re-recorded, solos changed and Orson Welles narration added. Many times.
Now it has reached 50, so it’s back out again, on multi vinyl and multi cd and bluray but not cassette.

Both main mixes of the same songs plus some demos and all the usual stuff that, if you are a fan, you will probably have already.
The vinyl is well over £100. The cd set is near £40. The picture disc £35.
If you have the original and/or the 1987 version, or Woolfson’s other songs set, or the expanded edition, or the two cd version, or the deluxe edition, or whatever, then you probably have it all.
This is not a criticism of the music. It’s a good record, but not their best. But here we are, yet again, keen fans being exploited (my opinion). If you want to buy it, do so, and enjoy it. We won’t be.
