We have several thoughts about this, most of which we will keep to ourselves.
It seems to be down for two 90 minute shows, say about an hour each after the adverts are removed. Much of it, possibly most of it, will be looking back at footage from previous years, following each person from the start to now. We wonder how much time was spent with each character? A day maybe, two?
Also, it’s ITV. There was a time when ITV was a serious channel, noted for its drama, news, tv series (like The Prisoner and The Avengers) and entertainment. It did great documentaries – one of our all time favourites was Hollywood.
Now it is almost unwatchable. Mornings are daytime gossip, afternoons are quiz show repeats and evenings are soaps. With the occasional James Bond film thrown in.
