Is this piercing only for men/women/young/old?
Anyone can have any piercing (except for those which are specific to male or female anatomies). If you want something, have it. If you don’t like it later, take it out. At least you know.
I’m scared of needles
Think of how cool the final result will be. It’s something you have wanted for a long time.
Walking through the door is the scariest bit.
The piercer will make you feel at ease, it will be over quickly and you won’t see a needle anyway.

Give it time. They can get sore for a short time, and there may be a little swelling, but don’t judge it straight away.
Follow the care rules and don’t fiddle with it. Someone will give you a nice compliment and you will realise it is worth it.

Go back to them.
You should have had a chance to make your requirements clear. You should have approved it before any actual piercing was done.
If you think it’s wrong, go back and ask. There may have been an anatomical reason it was done that way.
In our experience, piercers want you to be totally satisfied. You will go back. You will recommend others.

They won’t. They are doing a job. Any good piercer will simply want you to be a happy customer.
They have seen it all before. They are professional.
Of course they will touch you, because they have to do their job. Probably they will wear gloves.
