Here in the UK, Halloween is not really a thing. Some people do it for sure, but you don’t see trick-or-treating in London. And we definitely do not celebrate Thanksgiving. We do have Guy Fawkes/Bonfire night in November, where kiddies used to do penny-for-the-Guy, but we don’t any more, and are encouraged not to have our own firework displays (expensive and dangerous), not to torture pets but instead to visit organised displays.
Then comes Xmas.
