So many bands appeared here, including the lads themselves.

It’s easy to find. There isn’t a tube station very close by, but Tottenham Court Road, Holborn, Covent Garden and Leicester Square are but a short walk. It’s on Shaftesbury Avenue, but the opposite end from Piccadilly Circus.

You can go in. It’s still there. Sort of. The inside was later converted into a two screen cinema and then multiplexes. Last we heard there were plans to turn it into a hotel, but the neighbours were complaining.

But look, if you like scifi etc books, wander on to Forbidden Planet just a few doors along.
