Pies
The pie can be a heavy, tasteless thing with nasty pastry and too much gravy, but it doesn’t have to be.
The traditional London pie comes with a parsley liquor (as above), but most places do a hot, meat (or non-meat) filled light and tasty pie with a gravy and mash or chips that can be to die for. Too many places to list.
