Let’s just add one more thing.
Whatever the system, no matter how well designed it is and how safe you make it, there will always people why think it is fun to try to defeat the system. “We wonder what happens if you do open the shutter and do stick some metal in”.
These people have a name. Technically they are idiots.
Don’t be an idiot. Use the system properly and you will be safe. Don’t take shortcuts or sabotage a system or overload anything. Be sensible. If you have a travel adaptor, check it is appropriate.
We wouldn’t want your computer to blow up, or you. No matter how safe a plug is, use it properly. These things are there for your safety.
After all, you wouldn’t travel in a car without a seat belt, would you?
