It is possible that you recognise this gentleman, though I doubt it. I knew the name but not the face as, although he works in tv and is famous, it’s not in front of the camera.

Renaissance

It’s my opinion that Britain lead the world with progressive rock (“prog rock”) music. Think of the most famous of bands from the 1970s, Genesis, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Jethro Tull, ELP, even late Beatles.

There were plenty of other UK bands who never quite hit the biggest time, but were just as good and had their fans, such as Gentle Giant, Barclay James Harvest, Yes and more.

One such band I was a big fan of was, and still am is Renaissance.

Hacks

I was amused the other day by the news that the Twitter accounts for many famous and solvent people had been hacked: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-53445090

The scam was: send us some Bitcoin money and we will double it and send it back. Except, of course, they wouldn’t.

Why was I amused?

Here are some people who had accounts affected: Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Bill Gates…

But who is the most famous user of Twitter in the world? Donald Trump.

Was his account attacked? No. Why not?

Because no-one would ever believe he would generously send anyone free money. Ever.
