It has been announced that Alan Parker, famed British film director, has died.
If you don’t know Sir Alen, he directed Midnight Express, Bugsy Malone, Fame and the Pink Floyd film, The Wall.
I remember seeing Sir Alan at the NFT some years ago. It was a jolly evening, but I seem to remember he was not so well.
