In 2010 it was decided to create a sequel, “Tron: Legacy”. Flynn’s son enters the Grid, a virtual reality world, to try to find evidence of his father’s death and corruption within ENCOM, again.
Many of the original cast returned. This film really was computer generated and it looks fantastic, especially in 3D. Daft Punk provided the music.
Light cycles feature bigly.
Olivia Wilde joins the cast and looks great. Michael Sheen is here, plus a cgi version of Jeff Bridges looking young.
There’s not much to the story to be honest. Putting the two Tron films side-by-side makes an interesting comparison. Tron 3 has been talked about…
